Southern Cambridgeshire Conservatives are delighted to invite you to their 2025 Annual Dinner.
Hosted by Associations at Cambridge City, South Cambridgeshire, St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire and Ely and East Cambridgeshire Conservative Associations, the Annual Dinner is the highlight of the Conservative calendar in southern Cambridgeshire.
This year our dinner will be held in the lovely formal hall of Robinson College, Cambridge, on Saturday 5th April from 7pm. We are delighted to announce that our guest of honour and speaker will be the Rt Hon Robert Jenrick MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Justice.
Since being elected to Parliament in 2014 at the Newark by-election, Robert Jenrick has served in a wide range of ministerial posts, including as Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government between 2019-2021. As Minister of State for Immigration, he resigned in 2023 in protest that the government’s Rwanda plan did not go far enough in tackling illegal migration. In the 2024 Conservative Party Leadership election he finished second, securing 43.5% of the vote. He now serves as one of the most prominent members of the opposition front bench.
Join us to hear from Robert Jenrick about his experiences in government and opposition and the challenges and opportunities facing our party.
Tickets for the dinner cost £95 and include a pre-dinner drinks reception and formal three course meal with wine. Following the dinner we will hold our customary auction and raffle, with details of auction prizes to be circulated to attendees at a later date. Dress code is black tie.
